My Petra Story ~ And Yet I live

As I received my pledge in Investiture 2011 as a member who transfer from Petra Youth to Amp..I tell myself, "wow.. I never thought I will reach this point which is make me to see another deep meaning for living as Foo Sin Huey."

Now I look back,what I have walked through???

Let's count.. This year is my 8th year in Petra Gospel Centre. 5 years serve in Petra Youth.

So, in this 5 years as Leader, I got 2 years as committee in group Titus and group Peter, 1 year as assistant deputy in group Joshua, 2 years as deputy in group Uriah and group Jordan. And now, I'm entering 1st year in Amp group. I'm kinda excited. ^^

And Yet We Live. A theme from PYP, and this mean a lot to me.

I only can said, it is only by Grace, I still able to do what I can do and what I cannot do. Because of this Grace, with the little I have as ordinary girl I am, I able to serve as a leader in His House to do what I never thought I can do so and also never thought I can stay in a place for so many years. All this is by Grace, not by chance. I'm a kind of person who easy to give in or give up, by God's Grace, I still alive in Petra.

I'm so glad to see so many of the young people who once make me so worry and make me so trouble in mind but now have grow mature and able to have a chance to serve with their knowledge, gift, talent, and most important is with their life.

It make me so grateful and greatly touch because all this is only by His Grace. Because is only who acknowledge the Grace then only able to see the meaning of the calling to become as a servant in His kingdom. As a big group of young people taking their pledge, I'm so happy to see all of them all mature enough to handle others people life to direct them to Christ.

And Yet I live not for myself, but for others and for Christ.

This is a blessing for me...

Yes, this is a sister that recently we get to so close with.

Many of them also not really like this sister because of misunderstanding.

But, I would like to discover who she really is beside listen to what others talk about her.

Amazingly, I discover that we able...

to share our life,

to talk with each other with honest attitude and with truth,

to encourage each other in different way but yet benefit each other,

to learn from each other strength,

and

to be a good sister for each other with love with all our heart^^

Not only from this sister call Connie..

I also have this few sisters all this while with me no matter is in

most happier time or in most trouble time or in the moment of deep sad.

Who are there???

Yes, is them...

Because of this, I realize I get so much blessing from God who bless me with this few good sisters that I have in my life which money cannot buy.

This sound like a song we often use to sing in church, right??
