I'd rather have Jesus

  1. I’d rather have Jesus than silver or gold;
    I’d rather be His than have riches untold;
    I’d rather have Jesus than houses or lands;
    I’d rather be led by His nail-pierced hand
    • Refrain:
      Than to be the king of a vast domain
      And be held in sin’s dread sway;
      I’d rather have Jesus than anything
      This world affords today.
  2. I’d rather have Jesus than men’s applause;
    I’d rather be faithful to His dear cause;
    I’d rather have Jesus than worldwide fame;
    I’d rather be true to His holy name
  3. He’s fairer than lilies of rarest bloom;
    He’s sweeter than honey from out the comb;
    He’s all that my hungering spirit needs;
    I’d rather have Jesus and let Him lead

As I choose to live the way to seek you daily, I realize, how little I am but yet so valuable in Your eyes. But, why my eyes keep looking at things that not worth to keep. Can consider it as rubbish. But, why I find it so hard to let go.

Lord, pls speak to me and help me to have enough strength to put down whatever that not worth to treasure. But, to start treasure you my Lord start from next step.

Lord, pls lead me through..

Quiet Time Sharing

Mark 9:14-29

When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them. As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.

"What are you arguing with them about?" he asked.

A man in the crowd answered,"Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not."

"O unbelieving generation," Jesus replied,"how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you?" Bring the boy to me."

So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.
Jesus asked the boy's father,"How long has he been like this?"
"From childhood," he answered. "It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."
"'If you can?"' said Jesus. " Everything is possible for him who believes."

Immediately the boy's father exclaimed,"I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"

When Jesus saw a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil spirit. "You deaf and mute spirit,"he said, "I command you, come out of him and never enter him again."

The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said,"He's dead." But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.

After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately,"Why couldn't we drive it our?"
He replied,"This kind can come out only by prayer."

Quiet Time Sharing

Hebrews 12 : 1-13

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,
let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles,
and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith,
who for the joy set before him endured the cross,
scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men,
so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons:

"My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons.
For what son is not disciplined by his father?
If you are not disciplined(and everyone undergoes discipline),
then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.
Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it.
How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live!
Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best;
but God discipline us for our good, that we may share in his holiness.
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful.
Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace
for those who have been trained it.

Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.
"Make level paths for your feet," so that the lame may not be disabled,
but rather healed.

I have a great lesson to learn throughout this 2 years.. Even it was a deep painful lesson after the broken relationship. God is really a great Father of all nation. He care. And He not only care, also mean it, and He will make sure His children grow like Him. He give me a painful training ground. I got to admit, it was so pain until I wanted to give up. Until I do all kind of funny stupid things. However, no matter what happen, He just want me to relay on Him more. To learn to depend on Him more. To learn to know who He really is.

I'm grateful for everything that He did to me even all the pain, struggle, tears, suffering in trial, and so on.. Because it is a training ground from a lovely Father give to His children, because He love me. Because He choose to love me.

Dependant

Communicate it is the best way to get to know one another.
However, pray to God is to help us to develop habitually knowing how to depend on Him more.
Right??
I think, beside pray for you,
I have no other best way to show my care and love for you.
Let God lead you through.

i think...i did it

it just within 24 hours, and I found so peaceful right now.

His grace is sufficient for me,
He control over my thinking and my action,
He bless me with what I undeserved to have,
He listen to my prayer,
And He know me, all...

I'm so sad to know I am not the person =(

However, I'm so glad who you are now. Why don't you consider me again???
a silly thought fly over my mind. hahahaha..

He is a creative God of all nation. I'm glad I have Him.
And He care me also.

I want to praise your name on high...
I want to sing a song for you..
I want to worship you with all I have...even is nothing I have but only you.

Amen.

Quiet Time Sharing

Thank God for today reminder.

Quiet Time Topic : Walk by the Spirit

How ?
By meditate day and night (Psalm 1:2)

What is meditate?
Patiently and thoroughly reflecting on a passage of Scripture.

Why we need to meditate God's word day and night?
is to help us effectively seal the Word in our heart so that we can obediently apply it and minister it in accordance with God's Spirit.

What we need to consider to walk with the Spirit?
We must focus on God and allow Him renew our minds.

How we know we are walk by the Spirit?
For whoever live in such way will undoubtedly walk by the Spirit because he/she will also be one who worships God in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

Scripture reference

Joshua 1:8 - Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

John 8:31-32 - To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said,"If you hold on to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Romans 15:4 - For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

2 Timothy 2:15 - Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword , it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

坦诚

坦诚....
无形中成为我们的沟通的桥梁..
我很安慰..
因为我没有听从恶魔的影响,
而是上帝来提醒我..
"we are call to be united,
not to separate the body of Christ-which is the church."
所以..坦诚的对话后,
心里的纳闷和不安也已消失了..
感谢上帝的恩典
才能使我做了对的决定..

Part 4 : Forgives, receives, stands, bows, and perseveres

1) If you have Jesus in you, you have it in you to walk this way: loving, forgiving, and interceding for those who don't get you who have hurt you, and who don't deserve your love.

2) Jesus is that He takes us-rags and all-and makes something of us.

3) FORGIVE
- Mark 11:24-25, "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for your prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."
- Without God, we cannot. Without us, God will not.
- To fight for our "right" not to forgive is a struggle that will only weaken us.
- The fight for us is one for a heart that is willing to hand over our offenses because Jesus asks us to.
- God will defend.
- God will settle the accounts, and when He does, everyone will know that He is a God of righteousness and power. We don't need to instruct Him in the ways of justice.
- Jesus has won the war of unforgiveness by forgiving us.
- Give God your best by giving Him the worst of all that's ever happened to you.
(this make me cry after i read this. It is so hard to forgive at that time, but I forgive because God forgive me.)

Personal experiences sharing, without much love, you will choose ignore, not forgive. With sincere love, you will know how to forgive that will please the Lord.

4) RECEIVE
- What we have received from the battle? the amazing grace of the Master, Jesus Christ.
- Yes, we've make mistakes in the past but He gives, He gives, and He gives again.
- To move into bigger and the deeper and the more profound things of God, we must continuously and relentlessly hang on to grace and divine love. Daily He's pouring it out; daily we must receive a fresh dose of it. Every morning, He's three. Open your hands and receive it.

5) STAND
- Whatever we allow in our hearts, we allow in our lives, which determines the path we take and the choices we make.
- The fight to stand is the fight to said no to insecurity, fear, defeat, and discouragement.
- Though the enemy tell me I'll surely fail, God says He will not fail me!

6) BOW (TENDERNESS)
- Jesus didn't just act humble; He was humility.
- He did not consider equality with God a thing to be grasped. (Philippians 2:7)
- God created the world out of nothing, and as long as we are nothing, He can make something out of us.- Martin Lurther.
- The battlegrounds beneath our feet are the places in our lives where we refuse to humbly bow before the Lord as that He might have His way.
- The fight for us is the fight against our own stubborn willfulness and hardness of heart.
(haih...i know this applied to me...haih..)
- When we grow comfortable in God's presence, we more easily trust Him to deal with our inconsistencies.
- When we believe that He has our best interests at heart, bowing before Him then becomes the most natural thing on earth. Just like breathing.

7) PERSEVERE
- Don't let the enemy convice you that it's too difficult.
- Keep going, keep declaring, keep believing.
- Persevere and do not give up. God have great things ahead for us.
- Over and over again, the Bible tell us that He rewards those who seek after Him.
- He works for those who wait for Him.
- He blesses those who are willing to persevere.
- Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. - James 1:4

From a book call "the uncommon women : making an ordinary life extraordinary."

Part 3 : Wisely picks her battles

1) Not every battle is ours to fight. Not every wrong is ours to right.
- always, though, it's God's shield we raise; it's His victory we proclaim, and it's His right hand that lifts us up to a new and better place.

2) Gos is already carrying the world, so we don't have to. We only have to carry what He puts in our hands for that day.

3) Did you know that it's possible to live peacefully and be victorious in battle at the same time?
- But God defends us. He fights for us. And He delivers us.

4) Don't make a move without Jesus. Just a soldier won't move without a command by commander.

5) How do we choose our battles wisely? We humbly stay in step with Jesus and consider Him our greatest Defender.

6) The sooner we can get over ourselves and thus learn to walk around such traps, the sooner we will get on the better things in life.

7) When we entrust ourselves to Him, He becomes our greatest Defender.

8) We find freedom when we no longer need to defend ourselves.

9) God understands us and that's enough.

Freedom in Christ produces a healthy independence from peer pressure, people-pleasing, and the bondage of human respect. The tyranny of public opinion can manipulate our lives. What will the neighbors think? What will my friends think?....
In Christ Jesus freedom from fear empowers us to let go of the desire to appear good, so that we can move freely in the mystery of who we really are. - Brennan Manning.

As you read on, you make feel something wrong with my sharing. However, I just try to point some important point out of 20pages of 1 chapter. If you interested to know more, go and get this book and read.
and pai seh i can't borrow because i not yet finish reading the whole book. (blek)
